President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign followed suit on POTUS’ notorious mockery of Native American ancestry claims by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) before her official 2020 presidential candidacy announcement Saturday.
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement Saturday that Warren has been “exposed as a fraud by the Native Americans she impersonated and disrespected to advance her professional career, and the people of Massachusetts she deceived to get elected.”
Parscale further tore into Warren’s campaign platform, which largely aims to make populist calls to fight economic inequality.
“The American people will reject her dishonest campaign and socialist ideas like the Green New Deal, that will raise taxes, kill jobs and crush America’s middle-class,” Parscale said.
Parscale’s dig comes a week after Trump said Warren fell into “the Pocahontas trap.” Warren also made news last week for reportedly apologizing in private to the principal chief of the Cherokee Nation for taking and publicizing a DNA test that showed she had a Native American in her family ancestry.
